OBAMA HOSTS FIRST STATE DINNER

The guest list has been kept a tight secret by the White House, as well as the menu and other details.
HONDURAS ELECTION
Voters in Honduras will head to the polls Nov. 29 in a presidential election in an ongoing political crisis that came to a head in late June when President Manuel Zelaya was rousted from his bed by soldiers and flown to Costa Rica. The country's Congress is scheduled to vote Dec. 2 on whether Zelaya should be reinstated. Roberto Micheletti was named president by Congress after Zelaya was sent into exile, but Zelaya has since returned and has been holed up in the Brazilian Embassy since September 21.
A U.S.-brokered agreement to ease the political tensions with the formation of a national unity government has not taken hold. Micheletti, meanwhile, said he is considering removing himself from office before the vote and at least until Congress makes a decision on Zelaya.
THANKSGIVING
The nation will observe the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday with the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York and turkey dinners in households throughout the country. So what are you thankful for this year, besides the fact that you're not a turkey?
